Christmas Card Collection 2013

I sat and made all the Christmas cards last night that I am able to do.

I’m so busy starting my self-employed business and also studying as I go back to college part time tomorrow evening.

Introducing my Christmas Cards collection 2013:

Excuse the darkness you wouldn’t think I took this picture in the day!

Starting off with my husband’s Christmas card –

Christmas - David 2013 (1) Christmas - David 2013 (2) Christmas - David 2013 (3)

To make this card I first of all drew a Christmas card and coloured in with a green colouring pencil, and I added some of Anita’s outline stickers, and I also had some other 3-d stickers of a robin and some Christmas presents.
I had some Christmas charms which were attached with split pins, and I used a wooden star as the ornament on the top of the tree.
I decided to finish off drawing some sweet love hearts.

Next is the card I made for my mum and dad –

I have a decoupage kit that my mum bought me a while ago and I made a Christmas tree decoupage, some of Anita’s outline stickers, some mum and dad stickers and finally a 3-d sticker of a Christmas tree with lots of tiny silver balls that move around when you shake the card.

Next I made a card for my in-laws –

This was also a decoupage set of a peace dove, I just made the decoupage style with 3-d foam pads that are double sided sticky pads. I also had some brad charms that are attached with split pins. Also some of Anita’s outline stickers again.

I made this card for my secret support sister which is set up from a scheme I am taking part in by Jamee from the A New Kind of Normal blog.

This scheme is set up for women who have illnesses and as a nice treat we send a box to a secret sister for support and encouragement.

I have had some shiny card stars and was unsure what to use them on and thought the perfect thing would be to use them on Christmas cards so I attached this to the card and the smaller star is standing out decoupage style. I made the Christmas tree using a pipe cleaner and mini pom poms, I hope she likes it.

I made this one for my Nan –

I made this card using a 3-d jingle bells sticker, I also cut out a white Christmas tree and covered it in glitter and attached it to the card, a wooden star for the top of the Christmas tree and mini pom poms for decorations.

I made this card for my other Nan –

I had a stash of felt and decided to use some red felt to cut out a Christmas tree, the 3-d stickers as you have probably recognised by now, and gold star made of card, and finally finished off with the reindeer 3-d sticker.

I made this one for my best friend Kate –

I used a ribbon bow and some bells from a set I have and attached them to the card, the 3-d stickers theme I have been using of a Christmas tree and finally a piece of card with JOY and attached with a 3-d foam pad in decoupage style.

I made this one for my dear friend Glenn –

The background is from my decoupage kit and I added some lovely glittery stickers I have of a star and a reindeer.

This one is for my auntie Linda –

I chose to make a very unique card by hand drawing a snowman on some card and attached some ribbon as the snowman’s scarf and a pipe cleaner for his carrot nose. After this I just attached some of the 3-d stickers theme I keep using throughout these cards.

I made this card for my auntie Julie –

I had some owl themed card and thought I would make a decoupage style card, the holly pieces and baubles are the backing image and then the owls are lifted from the card using the 3-d foam stickers. I finished off with Anita’s outline stickers of ‘Happy Christmas’.

I made this card for my friends Helen & Rob –

It is decorated using the decoupage kit I have and the baubles stand out from the card and finished with ‘Merry Christmas’ stickers.

I made this card for my friends Chris and Lee –

The chipboards set I mentioned earlier is attached to the card with the 3-d foam decoupage pads and the tree sticker which has the tiny little silver balls that move when shaken, and a brad in the top right corner attached using split pins. And there is a Christmas themed strip down the left hand side of the card.

And finally last but not least I made this for my friend Benji –

This last card was made using the chipboards again that I mentioned and attached using the 3-d foam decoupage pads and I threaded some gold ribbon through the card.

I hope they all like them it took many hours to make all these, please feel welcome to comment and tell me what you think of the cards.
