I finally got back to my group today and I was so glad to be crafting with the ladies again.

We picked our glass jar of choice from a box, they had egg cups too.

I made this pin cushion by cutting the polka dot material into a square and then sewing the stitches in and out so that once it has gone all around the edge it can be drawn up like a drawstring bag to be able to fill it with stuffing.

Then at the gathering we sewed the material tight and over the same place a few times so that it does not come undone.

We used a hot glue gun to glue the lace around the edges and the ribbon around the sides, with it gluing quickly it helps to take it home not wet too.

Finally we placed the pin cushion into the glass jar and put some pins into the top.

When I got home I decided to add buttons too to give it a finishing touch. I hope you like it I had much fun making it.
